MF206A is designed to provide customers with global network coverage on the connectivity of WCDMA. It can also be fully backward compatible to existing EDGE and GSM/GPRS networks.
The tiny profile in cost optimized LGA form factor and highly integration level enable integrators and developers to easily design their applications and truly benefit from the module's small size, low power consumption and mechanical intensity. Another significant advantage of the module MF206A is low cost.
A rich set of internet protocols (TCP/UDP protocols, PAP and CHAP used for PPP connections), industry-standard interfaces (USB/UART/SPI/I2C/ADC) and abundant functions (GPS/A-GPS/LBS, STK, USSD, Band Lock, Open RIL code, MMS, SMS) extend the applicability of the module to a wide range of M2M applications such as metering, tracking systems, security solutions, routers, wireless POS, mobile computing devices, PDAs, tablet PC and so on.
